Lead Innovation Group is an international conglomerate and an established market leader with over 20 years history in a number of industries.


We are based in China with operations that span 4 continents, in 9 countries and across 6 major industry groups.


The group has a history of operating in real estate development and expanded its operations to include tourism & hospitality, food & beverage, energy & environment, high-tech and education. Other added core businesses include international trade financing, robotics manufacturing, and healthcare. Our other core businesses include international trade, manufacturing, high-tech and healthcare. We currently have a net asset base over US$4 billion under management.


Lead Innovation, recognizing the new trend toward a digital economy, is now focusing on digital augmented businesses such as Web3 and its new concept eBusiness-of-Everything(TM).



1989 - 1990



  • In 1989, Mr. Luis Cheng returned back to his hometown Zhongshan, China to start his business career and created Linghang Co., Ltd. (“Linghang”)
  • Upon arriving to his hometown, he focused his business in construction and in the real estate area, and in 1990 he developed his first project, a villa called “Pingdong Club” in Sanxiang, Zhongshan. He introduced international design concepts in the project and initiated a new management idea then unknown in the region. Pingdong Club became a famous villa in Zhongshan and well-known in Guangdong. The Pingdong Club is featured in the Zhongshan City museum.
  • In the same year (1990), Linghang Co., Ltd. founded Zhongshan Classic Industrial Co., Ltd., a company specialized in manufacturing indoor and outdoor furniture for residents, villas and hotels. The company motto was to give unique personality and taste with cultural charms to the home culture.


2000 - 2016



  • The company partnered with Huafa Group, a famous property developer, the company built another villa in Shaxi Town, Zhongshan. This new villa is called “Huafa Ecological Garden”, phase I of which includes 50 villas designed by top architectural firms from all around the word. The project design cost was RMB55 million.
  • Linghang founded “Sanxin Bilingual School” an international teaching and boarding school with over 10,000 students.
  • Established “Zhongshan Good Life Design Engineering Co., Ltd.” With mature management system, good marketing and excellent work environment the company attracted many award winning designers to join the team.
  • Linghang incorporated “Lead Innovation Co., Ltd.” (“Lead Innovation”) to begin a research and exploration into innovative projects in China. Linghang incorporated “Casa Pape Catering Co., Ltd.” to its portfolio, and founded Casa Pepe Club in Shanghai and Zhongshan, Guandong, a private club specialized in Chinese and Western food since then the company had been expanded as a franchise to over 10 cities.
  • Lead Innovation established “Junhao Group” in Sanxiang, Zhongshan, entering the hotel and entertainment industry.


2017 - Present



  • Lead Innovation entered the U.S. public market.
  • Lead Innovation partnered with Beijing based China CACSI Engineering Corporation (a Level 2 State-Owned Enterprise) and establishes Lead Innovation CACSI HK in Hong Kong.
  • Lead Innovation CACSI HK, as lead negotiator, helped China CACSI sign with Bahria Foundation a landmark project called “China and Pakistan Refinery Project” valued at US$2 Billion, which has been its largest contract to date.
  • Lead Innovation CACSI HK became the first company in the Greater Bay Area to enter into a project under the One-Belt-One-Road strategy between China CACSI with Dr. Rodrigode Souza dos Santos of EGTA representing the Angola government for energy and social housing. In the first phase, 7,400 units of affordable housing would be built, a project with a value of more than US$240 million (RMB1.68 billion).
  • Guilin Lead Innovation Culture & Tourism Co., Ltd. was incorporated, entering the lifestyle and tourism industry.
  • In 2019, Mr. Luis Cheng represented China CACSI to lead a delegation to Honolulu to be received by Mr. Leland Sun, the great grandson of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, known as the Father of Modern China, meeting with Honolulu Mayor and members of the Legislators, to provide assistance in the first city level development and cooperation project which would become the signature for modernization and Smart city of Lead Innovation.
  • Signing of “Kaohsiung” smart city development and modernization for the development of Kaohsiung.
  • Lead Innovation acquired the re-known distilleries “Rongjiang” and “Qingdi” in Guilin, Guangxi as the first modern distillery of the Province in 1950. The company is famous for its history of liquor making that dates back to the Qin Dynasty (221 BC).
  • Lead Innovation established a new company with Savile Hotel Group with a network of more than 4,200+ hotels in China.
